The weather prediction for the summer came in this week. A mixed bag - some wet weeks and some scorching times so it remains to be seen if Glastonbury will be all mud and wellies and if Wimbledon can go through the fortnight with no rain delays.
Talking of Glastonbury, RICS South West have arranged for a site visit on 7 April to the festival ground at Worthy Farm. Festival founder Michael Eavis has installed the UK 's biggest private solar power plant at the festival site in Pilton, Somerset. More than 1,100 solar photovoltaic (PV) panels have been installed on the roof of the "Mootel" cow shed to generate enough power for 80 per cent of the farm's electricity demand and export excess to the grid.
