Dear RICS Matrics (Essex) Member,
Whilst the clocks have not even been changed yet, before we know it Christmas will be upon us, and no doubt many of you will have noticed that the Christmas Menus are already popping up in bars and restaurants locally.
With this in mind we need to start thinking about the annual RICS Matrics (Essex) Christmas Lunch, which this year will incorporate a ‘New Members Celebration’ for those who will have taken their APC not long before, and hopefully will have some celebrating to do!
This year the event is to be held on Wednesday 7th December 2011 at The Bay Horse, 189 Moulsham Street, Chelmsford, CM2 0LG. http://bayhorsechelmsford.com/
We will be there for lunch, so 12.30/1pm start. Prices are set at £19.95 per person for 2 courses or £24.95 per person for 3 courses, excluding drinks. The menu choices are listed on their home page via the link above which will give you a ‘flavour’ of what they will be serving.
At this stage, all we need from you is confirmation of whether you wish to attend as the venue needs confirmation of numbers ASAP. However we do need this soon, therefore please can you confirm to me via email at mt@elwelltaylor.co.uk no later than Friday 21st October if you wish to attend. If you do not confirm by this date then we will not be able to fit you in.
Once numbers are confirmed I will be in touch with those attending to sort out menu choices and collection of deposit (£5 per person).
This event has been well attended for many years and there is generally a group that powers through into the evening to really get in to the Christmas spirit, and I am sure that this year will be no exception.
Should you have any questions regarding the above please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards
Matt Turner
